Yemen Education For Employment (YEFE) was founded in 2008 and acts as a bridge between youth and private sector or self-employment opportunities. It first established offices in Sana'a and Taiz, and expanded to the governorates of Aden, Abyan, Al-Dhalea, Lahj, Marib, Al-Jawf, Amran and Shabwah. In 2016, Yemen EFE paused programming amid the violence of Yemen's civil war, but is resuming operations in 2017.
