Ronald Bruder

Honored by TIME Magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential People for his nonprofit work with EFE, Mr. Bruder began as a serial entrepreneur with businesses in real estate, travel, pharmaceuticals and energy. In 1977, he founded The Brookhill Group, which owns and manages properties throughout the US with a focus on creating investment partnerships to develop or redevelop shopping centers, office buildings and multi-family homes.

Mr. Bruder was an attendee at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. At the World Economic Forum in Tianjin in 2012, he was named a Schwab Foundation Global Social Entrepreneur for his work in founding EFE. He has served as a delegate of the Council on Foreign Relations to the Jeddah Economic Forum, and a contributor to the US-Islamic World Forum in Doha, Qatar. He is frequently invited to share EFE's best practices at major international conferences and fora, and has addressed audiences at the Clinton Global Initiative, World Economic Forum and the United Nations, among others.

Mr. Bruder earned his bachelor's degree from Adelphi University, a MBA from New York University, and a Post Master in Accounting & Taxation from Iona College.

Prior to joining Fundación Educación Para el Empleo (EuropEFE), Salvatore Nigro was the Director of the Advocacy Department of the Glocal Forum. He is used to negotiating, mediating and facilitating at the highest levels of national and international institutions. He has experience working both with governmental offices such as the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and with non-governmental organizations and in multicultural, multi-linguistic environments. Mr. Nigro holds a BA in International Political Science and a MA in International Studies from the LUISS University in Rome. He obtained a Master in Business Administration with Distinction from the University of Malta.

Jasmine Nahhas di Florio has 15 years of experience spanning the nonprofit/philanthropy, government and private sectors. Joining EFE in 2006, she worked closely with the Founder and Chairman on EFE’s start-up. Ms. Nahhas di Florio started up and ran programs for private donors in Afghanistan: Afghan Women Leaders Connect at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, and Arzu, a carpet social enterprise. Previously a corporate attorney at the international law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell, she also was an attorney-advisor at the U.S. Department of Treasury. She consulted the United Nations (UNFIP) on private-public sector partnerships. A Rhodes Scholar, Frank Knox Scholar and Fulbright Scholar, she is a graduate of the University of Alberta, Oxford University and Harvard Law School.

Ms. Chaffai, the current CEO of EFE-Tunisie, has previously worked at the Tunisian Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training, Ministry of Communication Technologies, and the Tunisian Internet Agency.  She holds degrees from the National Engineering School of Monastir and the Université de Technologie de Compiègne.  She has worked with EFE since May 2012.

Saro Nakashian

Saro Nakashian is a seasoned management and marketing expert with over 20 years of experience developing and managing programs that build the marketing and management capabilities of individuals and organizations to succeed. Mr. Nakashian has designed several programs for entrepreneurial training for young entrepreneurs and SME owners. As the General Director for Palestine Education for Employment (PEFE), as well as through his previous positions as Senior Management and Marketing Analyst with the Center for Continuing Education (CCE) of Birzeit University and other positions, he has worked across multiple sectors, from public health to private industry, and has substantial experience managing technical development assistance, including but not limited to EU, UNIDO, UNRWA, WB and USAID.

He speaks fluent English, Armenian and Arabic, holds a B.sc. in Management, MBA concentration marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University an M.Phil in HR and Entrepreneurship from the Maastricht School of Management the Netherlands.  Mr. Nakashian is also the Chairman of the Board Juzoor Foundation, Board Member WorldVision Jerusalem, and East Jerusalem YMCA.

Ismail El Habrouk has been with EFE|Egypt since July 2012, when he joined as a trainer before becoming Operations Manager and finally CEO. Ismail founded Recruit Egypt, one of the leading recruitment agencies in Egypt. Bringing with him a wealth of expertise in the field of recruitment, self-taught knowledge of computer programming and unparalleled enthusiasm for EFE|Egypt's work, Ismail has proved his visionary leadership and commitment to help EFE|Egypt impact the lives of thousands of youth. Ismail graduated from City University of Seattle with a bachelor’s degree in business.

Ameen AL-Qadri

Ameen H. AL-Qadri began his career at EFE as the Project Director for Youth Vocational Empowerment Project for YEFE prior to his appointment as CEO. Ameen brings fifteen years of experience in international development, education quality improvement, vocational training, and youth related programs to Yemen EFE. Through positions with the Education Development Center and World Links International, he worked extensively in providing training, facilitation and evaluation expertise in programs involving school authorities, administrators, teachers, students, and parents. He also worked as a research specialist for the Yemen Cross-Sectoral Youth Assessment, a USAID-funded study. Ameen obtained a Bachelor’s of Art Degree from the College of Education at Sana’a University and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Education Management at Queen Arwa University.

Ghadeer comes to JEFE with a wealth of expertise in workforce development, project management, and fundraising, along with a passion for EFE’s mission and vision for addressing youth unemployment in Jordan and throughout the MENA region.

Prior to joining JEFE, Ghadeer was the Executive Director at Luminus Group, an Education and Training Solution provider in the MENA region, and the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Employment at Al-Quds College and the Luminus Vocational Training Center. In this role, she led Luminus Group’s education and training centers in adopting the E4E education for employment model in order to prepare youth for work and establish linkages with the private sector. Ghadeer also has four years of experience as a Business Acquisition Manager at DAI, where she built business networks in the MENA region, identified new business opportunities for the company and managed proposal development for USAID and other funders.

llhem comes to EFE-Maroc with 16 years of diverse experience in both the private and non-profit sectors. She worked with Ericsson for over a decade and heldvarious positions in Moroccan NGOs, including the Lalla Hasna Foundation and RSO Morocco. Ilhem started her own company around innovative digital solutionsand enhancing the ability of businesses to engage in social responsibility. She received her Master’s Degree in Digital Telecommunications from Telecom ParisTech.
