Education For Employment (EFE) President & CEO Jamie McAuliffe chaired the discussion on youth unemployment at the World Economic Forum (WEF) Summit on the Global Agenda in Abu Dhabi from November 18 – 20.

Known as "the world’s largest brainstorming event,” the Summit draws over 900 leaders from business, civil society, academia, international organizations, and government.  It serves as the annual gathering of the WEF’s Network of Global Agenda Councils, a group of 80 interconnected issue-focused councils that aim to shape global agendas and catalyze global initiatives.

As Chair of the WEF’s Global Agenda Council on Youth Unemployment, McAuliffe joined government, business and education leaders from around the globe to propose recommendations that will support the WEF, governments and business entities in addressing the global youth unemployment crisis.

The Summit was co-chaired by the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) and UAE’s Minister of Economy.  Videos and webcasts of the Summit, as well as more information can be found at its website, or by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots.
