Ameen Alqadri

CEO, EFE-Yemen

Ameen H. AL-Qadri began his career at EFE as the Project Director for Youth Vocational Empowerment Project for YEFE prior to his appointment as CEO. Ameen brings fifteen years of experience in international development, education quality improvement, vocational training, and youth related programs to Yemen EFE. Through positions with the Education Development Center and World Links International, he worked extensively in providing training, facilitation and evaluation expertise in programs involving school authorities, administrators, teachers, students, and parents. He also worked as a research specialist for the Yemen Cross-Sectoral Youth Assessment, a USAID-funded study. Ameen obtained a Bachelor’s of Art Degree from the College of Education at Sana’a University and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Education Management at Queen Arwa University.

Lamia Chaffai

CEO, EFE-Tunisie

Ms. Chaffai, the current CEO of EFE-Tunisie, has previously worked at the Tunisian Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training, Ministry of Communication Technologies, and the Tunisian Internet Agency. She holds degrees from the National Engineering School of Monastir and the Université de Technologie de Compiègne. She is the founding CEO of EFE-Tunisie and has led the organization since May 2012.

Ghadeer Khuffash

CEO, EFE-Jordan

Ghadeer comes to EFE-Jordan with a wealth of expertise in workforce development, project management, and fundraising, along with a passion for EFE’s mission and vision for addressing youth unemployment in Jordan and throughout the MENA region. Prior to joining JEFE, Ghadeer was the Executive Director at Luminus Group, an Education and Training Solution provider in the MENA region, and the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Employment at Al-Quds College and the Luminus Vocational Training Center. In this role, she led Luminus Group’s education and training centers in adopting the E4E education for employment model in order to prepare youth for work and establish linkages with the private sector. Ghadeer also has four years of experience as a Business Acquisition Manager at DAI, where she built business networks in the MENA region, identified new business opportunities for the company and managed proposal development for USAID and other funders.

Dima Najim

Managing Director, EFE-UAE

Dima Najim has over 13 years of experience working in the MENA region in senior NGO roles. Prior to joining EFE, Dima served as part of the World Wildlife Foundation - UAE fundraising team. Before moving to the UAE, she held the position of Chief Operations Officer of Relief International/MSME in Iraq, and in 2010 was part of the team assigned by AGFUND to establish the first microfinance bank in Syria, where she assumed the role of Operations Manager. Also, she was part of UNRWA's Microfinance Department management team. Dima has significant professional experience in women and youth empowerment and financial inclusion, in addition to her experience in partnership management, fundraising and operations management of NGOs. Born and raised in the MENA region, Dima holds a BA in accounting from Damascus University and a Master’s degree in finance from the Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences.

Saro Nakashian

CEO, EFE-Palestine

Saro Nakashian is a seasoned management and marketing expert with over 20 years of experience developing and managing programs that build the marketing and management capabilities of individuals and organizations to succeed. Mr. Nakashian has designed several programs for entrepreneurial training for young entrepreneurs and SME owners. As the General Director for Palestine Education for Employment (PEFE), as well as through his previous positions as Senior Management and Marketing Analyst with the Center for Continuing Education (CCE) of Birzeit University and other positions, he has worked across multiple sectors, from public health to private industry, and has substantial experience managing technical development assistance, including but not limited to EU, UNIDO, UNRWA, WB and USAID. He speaks fluent English, Armenian and Arabic, holds a in Management, MBA concentration marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University an M.Phil in HR and Entrepreneurship from the Maastricht School of Management the Netherlands. Mr. Nakashian is also the Chairman of the Board Juzoor Foundation, Board Member WorldVision Jerusalem, and East Jerusalem YMCA.

Nora Abou El Seoud

CEO, EFE-Egypt

Nora Abou El Seoud has more than 15 years of experience in the field of training and development in reputable multinational institutions and NGOs. Nora joined EFE|Egypt in 2012, where she held a series of increasingly significant roles within the organization to ensure excellence in all operations and to positively contribute to the attainment of the organization’s goals. Before joining EFE|Egypt, she spent years employed by The American University in Cairo (AUC), where she developed, managed and taught many programs and courses. She also worked at Amideast on implementing a project in cooperation with Indiana University, USA. She then moved to work at Reginal IT Institute (RITI), where she oversaw all training and developmental projects as well as business operations. Nora graduated from The American University in Cairo (AUC) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Business Administration. She then pursued her Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from AUC.

Jihane Lahbabi-Berrada

CEO, EFE-Maroc

Jihane Lahbabi-Berrada is the Chief Executive Officer of EFE-Maroc, the leading youth employment NGO in Morocco addressing the skills gap by providing job seekers with market-driven skills trainings and job opportunities in high-demand sectors. Prior to joining EFE, Jihane was leading the development of the USD 1 billion social enterprise Groupe SOS in the United States through employment and entrepreneurship programs for vulnerable and at-risk youth. She also worked with the Clinton Foundation to develop career-readiness and workforce development programs in the United States following the 2008 recession. A dual citizen of France and Morocco, Jihane holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Public Policy and a Master’s degree in Finance & Strategic Management from Sciences Po, Paris, and a Certificate in Social Sector Leadership from University of California, Berkeley.
