For Egyptian youth graduating from university, the labor market looks broken. One in three university graduates in Egypt is without work, and those who are employed often lack the protection and stability of a work contract. This spring, EFE launched a partnership with the Trafigura Foundation which will enable EFE to test new approaches for engaging employers to create a fair and more responsive labor market. In addition, EFE-Egypt will train 350 unemployed Egyptian youth and place them into career-building jobs.
