In Jordan, more than one in four youth is unemployed. But the growing tourism and hospitality sector is desperate to recruit employees who have the right skills and mindset for the job. To help youth connect to the 20,000 job openings that are expected to exist by the year 2020, EFE-Jordan launched a National Hospitality Campaign in October 2018. In partnership with the Ministry of Labor, the Drosos Foundation and the Velaj Foundation, the national campaign uses TV, radio, billboards, events and social media to introduce youth to the benefits of a career in hospitality, and provides youth with the opportunity to apply for EFE-Jordan programs that prepare them with the skills they need to succeed in this growing sector.
