EFE-Yemen Solar Power Training Brings Jobs and Light to Communities in Darkness

Yemen's civil war has disrupted the country's energy infrastructure and led to rapidly-rising fuel prices. To illuminate communities in darkness, EFE-Yemen is training unemployed youth for jobs in the solar power sector with support from GIZ. Our trainees learn solar cell maintenance, entrepreneurship basics and financial literacy before being linked to jobs or startup support.
