EFE-Yemen's LYFE Participants Show Off Their Entrepreneurial Skills

EFE-Yemen's Livelihoods for Yemen’s Future Entrepreneurs (LYFE) project, funded by the Vitol Foundation, is currently in its second iteration. In 2019, the Affiliate delivered entrepreneurship training to 82 Yemeni youth who had ideas for new businesses, and selected 47 training program graduates to receive three months of business incubation support and $250 start-up grants. By the end of the first project, 38 of these entrepreneurs were earning an income from their businesses, 22 had successfully completed the business registration process, and 12 had already hired additional employees.

This month, LYFE participants have the opportunity to represent EFE-Yemen in the inauguration of the Show I Can entrepreneur exhibition in Sana'a. At the event, LYFE participants will attend unique training sessions, market their ideas to investors, and network with other successful entrepreneurs.
