Under the “Employment Beyond Boundaries” project, funded by the Western Union Foundation, EFE-Palestine and EFE-Jordan implemented a new Virtual Jobs module and training approach. The training consisted of a comprehensive training suite, including soft skills, English skills, and technical freelancing skills, a capstone project, and mentorship sessions, equipping them with the skills that qualify them to access the virtual job market and generate additional income to support themselves and their families. EFE also piloted a “teams” approach, by which participants with complementary skills formed small groups to bid on larger contracts.
