Morocco Earthquake Relief

EFE is mobilizing its network of 50,000+ EFE-Maroc alumni to assist relief efforts on the ground, but we need your help.

A 6.8 magnitude earthquake has hit Morocco, killing at least 2,500 people, injuring more than 2,000, damaging ancient buildings, and sending terrified people fleeing into the streets for safety. EFE-Maroc is providing support to these communities by assisting local NGOs and authorities with immediate relief fundraising necessary to rescue victims, provide food, temporary shelters, and survival kits for homeless families, as well as others affected.

Thousands of Moroccans have been left without basic necessities for survival after a devastating 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck the country. Battling harsh climate conditions in the high Atlas Mountains, the victims are in critical need of survival kits, which include food, tents, medical supplies, and other essentials.

In addition to basic survival, the country needs support to overcome disruptions to vital infrastructure and the economy, as well as ensure survivors receive emotional and psychological support.

EFE-Maroc is ready to mobilize its extensive alumni network of over 50,000 members, providing the necessary resources. They are ready to assist with logistics on the ground, distribute vital supplies and survival kits as well as organize blood donation campaigns, promising to bring relief where it is needed most - but they need your support.

Beyond immediate relief that is critical to the survival of the victims, EFE-Maroc is able to help with the long-term recovery. EFE-Maroc can train people and link them to economic opportunities to support them in getting back on their feet.
