As part of the THF GREEN project, EFE-Algeria partnered with BADIR Association in Djanet and ITHRAN Association in Tizi Ouzou to strengthen local capacity in environmental protection and sustainable waste management.

Throughout August, participants attended two waste management training sessions focused on practical approaches to local environmental challenges. The program also included two environmental actions, allowing participants to apply their learning through hands-on activities in their communities.

By bringing together local civil society organizations around a shared environmental objective, the initiative also supported knowledge exchange, collaboration, and greater community engagement around sustainable waste management.
