In Tunisia, EFE-Tunisie is helping young people turn training into steady work through FBR@Work, a results-based employment program where training is shaped by employer demand and success is measured by job placement and retention. In the 12 months since the project began, 81 young people have completed training, and 66 are now working and have remained in their jobs for at least one month. Nineteen have already reached the six-month mark.
What makes the difference is that employers help shape the training from the start. EFE-Tunisie works with them to understand the skills they need, then prepares young people for those roles in sectors including automotive, textile, and agro-food.
Nine employers are already engaged through recruitment, candidate sourcing, and hiring. That close connection helps ensure that training leads to real employment opportunities and gives young people a clearer path into sustained work.
