EFE-Jordan, in partnership with UNHCR, is implementing the Self-Reliance, Economic Inclusion and Livelihoods project to support 150 Syrian refugee youth and women in Azraq and Za’atari Camps. The project focuses on building market-relevant skills and income-generating opportunities.
Participants are receiving training in online freelancing, entrepreneurship, marketing, access to finance, and hands-on technical skills. Graduates also receive toolkits to help them start or continue their projects.
To strengthen market access, two upcoming bazaars will feature 27 graduates showcasing 26 refugee-led projects. The bazaars will run over thirteen days and highlight handcrafted products, providing participants with opportunities to generate income and connect with customers.
Through this project, EFE-Jordan and UNHCR are supporting refugee communities in building sustainable livelihoods in Jordan.
