EFE-Palestine concluded a Psychological Support training in Gaza City as part of its Gaza Emergency Response efforts. The training equipped participants with essential psychological and social support skills, focusing on self-care, psychological well-being, and stress management through modern assessment and diagnosis techniques.
Participants also learned strategies to manage emotional stress and work pressure, along with methods to prevent secondary trauma when working with patients. The goal of the training was to strengthen psychological resilience and coping abilities in challenging environments.
The training incorporated interactive methodologies, including dialogue, role-playing, group discussions, brainstorming exercises, and case studies, ensuring a dynamic and engaging learning experience. Educational videos and worksheets further supported participants in applying their knowledge to real-world scenarios.
