EFE-Yemen celebrated the completion of the Women Leaders in Entrepreneurship, Advocacy & Development (WE-LEAD) project with a graduation ceremony in Aden on May 7, 2026. Implemented in partnership with UN Women and funded by the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund, the project equipped women in Aden and Taiz with the skills needed to strengthen their employment readiness, launch and grow businesses, and expand their economic opportunities.

The ceremony brought together local stakeholders, community leaders, partners, and trainers to celebrate 84 women graduates. Among them, 65 women completed the Job Training Program and are preparing to enter the workforce, while 19 aspiring entrepreneurs completed entrepreneurship training to develop and grow their businesses.

Through WE-LEAD, EFE-Yemen is helping women build the skills, confidence, and networks needed to pursue meaningful employment and entrepreneurship opportunities in their communities.
