In January, EFE hosted its first Training of Trainers (ToT) in Lebanon, marking a key milestone in expanding high-quality entrepreneurship training for youth. Over six days, Master Trainer Najwa Lakhal from EFE-Maroc guided 10 Lebanese trainers through the AFAQ entrepreneurship curriculum using EFE’s hands-on, “learning by doing” approach. Trainers engaged in curriculum deep dives, interactive simulations, and peer-led discussions to strengthen their facilitation skills and prepare for future cohorts of aspiring entrepreneurs.

This ToT signals the formal rollout of EFE’s AFAQ Entrepreneurship Program in Lebanon, which aims to equip youth with practical skills to launch and grow their own businesses in a challenging economic landscape. The ToT is part of EFE’s broader effort to address youth unemployment in Lebanon by creating localized, market-relevant training and employment pathways.

This milestone builds on early groundwork laid since EFE launched operations in Lebanon in mid-2024, which has included LinkedIn digital training sessions in partnership with EFE-UAE, as well as peer-led workshops for local trainers.
