Education For Employment (EFE) proudly recognizes Sarah Little, Vice President of Programs & Business Development at EFE Global, for her leadership in expanding workforce development programs and strategic partnerships across the Middle East and North Africa.
Sarah began her journey with EFE in 2009 as a program coordinator and has steadily taken on greater leadership responsibilities. She now oversees the organization’s regional programs while directing business development efforts across EFE’s network, managing a portfolio of workforce development initiatives, and spearheading annual partnerships exceeding $30 million with government agencies, foundations, and corporate collaborators.
Throughout her career at EFE, Sarah has played a key role in strengthening the capacity of local affiliates, designing effective programs, and creating new opportunities for young people to access employment and entrepreneurship pathways. Her expertise in program management, partner engagement, and strategic planning has helped position EFE as a trusted partner for governments, corporations, and philanthropic organizations in advancing youth economic empowerment.
“Sarah’s vision and leadership have been central to EFE’s ability to scale its impact and connect young people with meaningful opportunities,” said Andrew Baird, CEO of EFE. “Her commitment to supporting youth and strengthening local partnerships exemplifies EFE’s mission in action.”
Before joining EFE, Sarah gained experience with SOS Children’s Villages and Secours Populaire Français in Paris, and worked as a student advisor at Michigan State University’s Office of Study Abroad. She holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Michigan State University.
Outside of her professional life, Sarah enjoys cooking, with a particular love for Middle Eastern cuisine, and going on adventures with her dog, May.
