Aden – Yemen, October 2025

Alwaleed Philanthropies “Global”, chaired by HRH Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, and Education For Employment (EFE-Global) signed an agreement to implement the Mustaqbal III project in Aden and neighboring governorates, continuing joint efforts to enhance employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for youth. The project equips young people with practical and vocational skills needed to enter the labor market with confidence or to launch and manage small enterprises, supporting families and communities and contributing to local economic stability over two years.

Building on a partnership that began in 2021, earlier phases of the program have enabled nearly 3,000 young women and men to access jobs and start small businesses, improving living conditions and strengthening self-reliance for thousands of Yemeni families.

Phase III targets 575 youth across three tracks:

·      525 trained and prepared to obtain jobs in promising sectors aligned with labor-market needs.

·      25 trained for roles in the health sector to serve their communities and contribute to improved services.

·      25 empowered in entrepreneurship to gain the skills to start and manage small businesses.

Through this project Alwaleed Philanthropies “Global”, EFE-Global will continue delivering market-driven training linked to job opportunities, ensure inclusion of persons with disabilities, and provide hands-on practice, placement opportunities, and ongoing coaching through a network of graduates, employers, and experts, advancing inclusion and sustainability and building a more resilient future for Yemeni youth.
